1. Who we are
Prescot Solutions ("Prescot Solutions", "we", "us") is a digital services agency registered in Arizona, United States, with its office at 11000 N Scottsdale Rd 120, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
If you have a question about anything here, email contact@prescotsolutions.com or call +1 (512) 748-0662.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data that every web server records.
- Contact enquiries. Your name, email address, phone number, the service you selected and the message you wrote.
- Job applications. Your name, email address, phone number, Telegram username, the CV file you upload, your confirmation that you understand which industry the role is in, and optionally a LinkedIn or portfolio link and a covering note.
- Technical data. Your IP address, browser user agent and the date and time of your request. This is recorded with form submissions to help us investigate abuse.
- Cookie preferences. The choice you make in our cookie banner, so we do not have to ask again on every page.
We do not knowingly collect special category data such as health information, ethnicity or religious beliefs. Please do not include information of that kind in a message or CV unless a role genuinely requires it.
3. How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal.
- To assess your suitability for a role you applied for and to arrange interviews.
- To provide, maintain and improve the services our clients have engaged us for.
- To keep records required for tax, accounting and dispute-handling purposes.
- To detect, prevent and investigate spam, fraud and abuse of our forms.
We do not sell your personal information, rent it, or add you to a marketing list because you filled in a contact form. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in only.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one (enquiries and applications); our legitimate interests in running and securing our business (abuse prevention, service improvement); your consent (non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with a legal obligation (record keeping).
5. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We keep our use of them deliberately minimal.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID |
Strictly necessary | Keeps your session while you complete a contact or application form, and protects those forms against cross-site request forgery. | Until you close your browser |
prescot_cookie_consent |
Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted all cookies or essential cookies only. | 6 months |
| Analytics cookies | Optional | Aggregated statistics about which pages are visited, so we know what to improve. Only set after you press "Accept all". | Up to 24 months |
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the site cannot function safely without them. Optional cookies are never set until you accept them. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.
6. Job applications and CVs
Applications submitted through our careers pages go directly into a private recruitment area that only our hiring team can reach. Uploaded CV files are stored outside the public web directory with randomised filenames, so no one can guess a URL and download them.
- Your application is visible only to the people involved in that hiring decision.
- We do not run automated decision-making or algorithmic scoring on applications. A person reads every CV.
- If you are not selected, we may keep your details for up to 12 months in case a closer match opens up. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will delete them.
- You can ask us to delete your application at any point, before or after a decision.
7. When we share information
We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Our hosting and email providers, who process data on our instructions to run the website and deliver messages.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where we are required to.
- Authorities, where we are legally obliged to respond to a valid request.
Third-party content embedded in our pages — the Google Maps panel on the contact section and the Google Fonts stylesheet — is loaded from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. Their handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
8. How long we keep it
- Contact enquiries: up to 24 months from the last exchange between us.
- Unsuccessful applications: up to 12 months, then permanently deleted along with the CV file.
- Successful applications: transferred into the employee record and kept as long as employment law requires.
- Client project records: for the duration of the engagement plus seven years for accounting purposes.
9. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated on the server, protected against cross-site request forgery, and rate limited against automated abuse. The recruitment area is behind a password with lockout after repeated failed logins. Uploaded files are size and type checked, renamed, and stored where the web server will not serve them.
No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affected your rights we would notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Have inaccurate information corrected.
- Have your information deleted.
- Object to or restrict how we use it.
- Receive it in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
California residents may additionally request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and request deletion, and will not be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
To exercise any of these, email contact@prescotsolutions.com. We respond within 30 days and will not charge you for a reasonable request.
11. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top always shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for at least 30 days.
